A guitar player for over 25 years and performing since 1989, Amitabhan has been deeply influenced by a variety of spiritual traditions. Equally comfortable performing original songs "born in the depths of a quieted gratitute," or in Kirtan settings, his
music evokes the sacred — blending reverence and gratitude with a sense of surrender into the changeless.
He has performed for large groups of people at satsangs, retreats, and in a variety of spiritual settings. An award winning songwriter, he and has also performed widely as a solo folk artist and with various bands in California and Alberta.
When Amitabhan sings, the celestial muses listen. He sings from the heart with great devotion and evokes peace in those who listen or sing with him.
